The position
We are looking for a skilled, passionate, and experienced PMO Lead to help drive the digital transformation of People & Organisation (P&O). As PMO Lead, you will have an important and versatile role, being responsible for the day-to-day management of the P&O Digital Delivery Setup, paying attention to both strategic and tactical matters. The role is new, so you will have the opportunity to define it together with the Vice President and Head of HR DD&IT, who will be your direct manager.
More specifically, your responsibilities will centre around the following areas: Strategic advisory and planning Act as advisor to the management team of HR DD&IT and management teams across P&O regarding PMO related matters with a relentless focus on doing the right things, in the right way. You will take a cross-setup view and ensure that we keep track of roadmap, dependencies, and risks – and recommend changes when necessary. Delivery setup management and facilitation Lead the day-to-day implementation and delivery of portfolio, programme, and project services, incl. defining standards and policies, e.g., for monitoring and reporting of objectives and key results (OKRs), resource requests, demand and risk management. Prepare and facilitate recurring and on-demand strategic and tactical meetings with confidence, e.g., Steering Committees, PI Plannings etc. Stakeholder management Actively manage relationships with senior stakeholders and act as the second line of defence for risk and issue escalations in the delivery setup. You will be the routine contact point and engage proactively and collaboratively with stakeholders to resolve incidents and problems towards programme success.
Candidate profile
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with the following qualifications: Experience with implementing and facilitating a large-scale programme office A good understanding of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Lean Portfolio Management (LPM). A strong drive and motivation to drive change at all levels of the organisation Strong interpersonal skills as you will be guiding and challenging your colleagues when needed Strong collaboration skills as you will work with stakeholders from different teams and locations: Encouraging collaboration inter and intra teams, while monitoring alignment to vision and roadmap, cross-functionally Excellent communication as you will be conveying complex information clearly both verbally and in writing, taking a strategic and systematic approach As a person, you are a team player who can build trustful and respectful relationships with colleagues and stakeholders naturally, thriving in a busy and global environment where priorities change, and fast decisions are needed to move on and succeed.

The strategic focus of HR DD&IT is to develop, implement, and maintain world class HR IT systems in close collaboration with People & Organisation (P&O). The area is anchored within Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT) and team members are placed closely to P&O stakeholders for optimal collaboration. We work according to the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and ways of working to efficiently support P&O’s digitalisation journey. Our department consists of approximately 100 colleagues and is spread across Denmark, India, and the US. The atmosphere is informal and friendly, and colleagues are ambitious, curious, and skilled – complementing and challenging each other to deliver their best.
