As a Global LCA Expert, you will have a key role in shaping our efforts on LCA. Our environmental strategy, Circular for Zero, is based on circular economy principles and as a Global LCA Expert you will contribute to create the foundation for minimising the environmental impacts from our products. You will join our Global LCA team consisting of the Global LCA lead, one LCA Project Manager and four specialists in our Global Business Support unit. To support our LCA journey, your main tasks will include: Participate in the development of LCAs/carbon footprints for products and the regular update of these including optimisation of data collection from organisation. Support of all 7 tracks of the Circular for Zero strategy with respect to relevant quantification of environmental impacts. Contribute to the methodological improvements of LCA in the organisation. Ad hoc support to the organisation (outside CES) on relevant scoping of LCA projects, sparring, assistance to perform smaller calculations etc. Project management of LCA related projects. Preparation of reports, presentations and other documentation of LCA projects Moreover, we anticipate your involvement in supporting and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders concerning LCA-related topics. Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
Requirements for this role include: 5+ years of hands-on experience in conducting LCA calculations and modelling for complex projects. Comprehensive knowledge of LCA methodology to effectively scope projects and review existing work. Proven project management expertise. A master’s degree in environmental engineering or a related field. Strong proficiency in spoken and written English. As a person, you are structured and process oriented, with a collaborative approach. You are comfortable working, both as part of a team and independently with responsibility for your own tasks, demonstrating flexibility when issues arise. You have excellent interpersonal skills, and a professional mindset with the ability to communicate complex matters in a simple and compelling way. Experience from working with GABI LCA software is an advantage but not a prerequisite. About the Department

We develop and deploy environmental strategies, run cross- organisational projects, drive environmental intelligence and ensure internal and external communication leading to a reduced Novo Nordisk environmental footprint.
