As Launch Project Manager you will be the responsible for up to 30-40 launches a year and you will need to ensure timely product availability for the launches assigned to you. Securing timely launches requires significant amount of cross-functional collaboration and hence you will do this through a Launch Coordination Group that typically comprises Regulatory Affairs, Sourcing Operations, Production sites, Quality, Shipping, Global Marketing and Affiliates. Key elements of the job include securing the roll-out plan, launch speed, ensuring launch pre-requisites are in place in a timely manner.
Launch coordination is an area of high volatility and rapid change and re-planning is a frequent task in your daily work. Additionally, you will participate in the ambitious strive for simplicity and robustness in product availability planning and participate in various other standardisation projects. This is a unique opportunity to join a competent, dedicated international team with high entrepreneurial spirit and ambitions and to contribute to bringing new and existing products to the markets, with a very high impact on the patients and the performance of the company. Qualifications
Our ideal candidate has: Several years of experience with Supply Chain Management (preferably in a pharmaceutical setting), and experience with SAP APO, OMP or alike planning system Relevant university degree within Supply Chain, Finance, Business, Engineering or similar Excellent presentation skills Very strong skills in creating and maintaining relationships across a global organisation. A strong analytical, data driven mindset and hands-on experience with an interest in production management and planning. We expect that you have the skills to take responsibility for complex tasks involving many different stakeholders across different business areas. Furthermore, you must have the ability to work independently using your sound personal judgment to make wise decisions and to ask when in doubt. As a person, you are a self-starter who thrives with driving tasks and cross organisational projects independently and you are motivated by ambitious goals. Your analytical skills enable you to challenge complex problems and processes and to prioritise your efforts in an optimal way. The department is part of the Supply Chain Mid-term Planning anchored in the central Supply Chain Planning & Logistic unit. We are responsible for launches of new products and tactical/strategic sales- and operations planning, where we ensure supply chain resilience & network optimization for Novo Nordisk. We are a diverse group of around 50 colleagues from more than 10 different nationalities with various educational backgrounds. The PS Launch Office consists of 13 colleagues. Working at
