Do you have an experience working with agile methodologies but also ready to deliver in a traditional setup if needed? Are you ready for the next step in your career? We are looking for a new Scrum Master to join us in HR Digital Data & IT, supporting the People & Organisation business in Novo Nordisk based out of Denmark.
If this sounds interesting, than read on! What will you be doing? As our Scrum Master, you show proven experience from a global organization. You will facilitate the everyday life of the agile by focusing on capacity planning, efficient deliveries and coaching and leading the team. You will keep track of and help solve impediments and escalate if necessary as well as helping the team manage their progress via transparent backlog and board overviews. We also expect you to drive Agile Teams, vendors and customers in the Novo Nordisk Agile way of working including Agile Delivery Model, Azure DevOps, Agile QMS and Agile Sourcing. You will contribute to change ambassador to drive the learning culture and Agile mindset in Novo Nordisk. Furthermore, it is required you have abilities of budgeting and vendor management. As a person, you can take the driver’s seat when it comes to actively engaging, removing impediments, and setting the team up with the best conditions to focus on delivering all the impactful features they committed to the business with strong facilitation skills. Moreover, you’re capable of spotting issues, thinking of solutions, and actively collaborating with peers (PM, PO, delivery team) to continuously optimize the way we work and ensure high-quality deliverables. You have an energetic, passionate, and ambitious personality, as well as the ability to put yourself in the shoes of the customer; understand the “why” behind the technical part of a solution, and help translate between HR and IT. Candidate profile We realize that few people are experts at everything. But if you can nod your head at the following attributes then you could be the person we are looking for: A Certified Scrum Master/SAFe DevOps with understanding of Agile principles, methodologies, and events Experience with classic project management, as sometimes we have to work on longer-term plans and deliverables Help the PO and team building the roadmap for the area while ensuring the overall strategy is reflected You have strong communication and negotiation skills, facilitation skills and have worked in global teams across time zones You know your agile toolbox such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, XP and DevOps You help the team manage their progress via transparent backlog and board overviews as well as solving impediments in the Agile team context with stakeholders from other agile teams Ability to manage capacity planning ensuring that teams continuously deliver commitments and keep a high focus on using data to improve and optimize ways of working You work with the data to identify patterns and take back trends to the team to work on continuous improvement, value creation and efficiency Abilities to prepare and align expectations with stakeholders and collect dependencies from sister team before major events
About the department The strategic focus of HR DD&IT is to partner with P&O as their trusted tech leader in developing, implementing, and maintaining strong global Digital, Data, and IT solutions. HR DD&IT is anchored within Digital, Data, and IT (DD&IT) and team members are placed closely to P&O teams for optimal collaboration on strategic priorities. Operating in a large-scale agile setup, we continuously prioritise valuable deliverables in partnership with P&O. Our area consists of approximately 100 colleagues and is spread across Denmark, India, and Poland. The atmosphere is informal and friendly, and colleagues are ambitious, curious, and skilled – complementing and challenging each other to deliver their best, all while remembering to have fun along the way.
