About the department
You will join the GPOS Digital Transformation team, based in Bagsværd Denmark.
The team is anchored in the Global IT and is part of the HRIT area. Our responsibility is to drive the digitalisation of the Global P&O Services organisation through a large number of technology projects. We are responsible for project management and we contribute with critical specialist knowledge within solution architecture, data, integrations. Our motivation is to create the best possible user experience for managers and employees who need P&O’s digital services. We want to obtain this by developing and implementing new technology while continuously improving our current IT systems and tools.

The team is based in Bagsværd, Denmark.

The position
As Project Assistant, you will be responsible for executing a range of project support activities. You will join the programme office and will work closely with the programme director and the project teams.

Your job function will be to support the project managers in driving the daily project activities. You will be responsible for a wide range of administrative activities such as meeting support (booking, catering, presentation materials, minutes), planning workshops and events, managing travel plans and bookings, invoice handling, onboarding of consultants, contract handling etc.. Moreover, you will support the programme director with communication and reporting activities including internal communication on intra-web, file sharing, video meetings etc..

Qualifications
Our ideal candidate has at least 2-3 years’ experience with administrative work in an international environment. Preferably with a good understanding of both IT and HR. Fluency in oral and written English is a requirement. You are a skilled user of various IT systems including MS Office. Knowledge of SAP will be an advantage.

It is important that you are organised and can manage deadlines and work with multiple and frequently changing priorities using good collaboration skills and a sense of humour. You are good at problem-solving, working independently and proactively in a busy environment, and have a broad overview and sense of details.
