– Help enhance our product development processes and support our innovation projects
Do you have experience in working with international standards and authority requirements for medical devices? Are you dedicated to quality and improving design and development processes? Are you motivated by working in a fast growing and highly collaborative environment? Then you may be our new colleague in the Innovation Project Management team.
We are looking for an experienced specialist with medical technical background to expand our Innovation Process sub-team in the Innovation Project Management team. The Innovation Project Management team, currently consisting of 7 Project Managers and 2 Innovation Process Specialists, is part of the Global Innovation organization and our team’s primary focus is to ensure that we execute effectively on our ambitious strategy to develop our future medical device systems.
We have an effective innovation culture at our headquarters in Ballerup where we develop new medical devices. We have a tradition for fast completion of projects, and you will experience a clear link between your results and Ambu’s growth. We focus on developing new products and production processes that combine several technologies in new and innovative ways. This sets high demands to your analytical and communication skills, adaptability, technical understanding, and broad medical device experience.
Supporting global product development and product sustaining
As Innovation Process Specialist, you will ensure continuous focus on effective design and development processes in our global product development organization, provide ongoing support to our new product development and product sustaining project teams and offer hands-on training to colleagues around the world.
In Ambu, the product development and product sustaining activities take place in close collaboration with various global departments and stakeholders, so it is crucial that you are clear in your communication, and are able to establish and maintain a broad, global network within Ambu.
Experience with medical device industry and authority requirements
As a person you are self-motivated, committed, structured and have a strong sense of responsibility towards your work. You are open-minded and you use your great interpersonal skills in your daily work to drive process improvements and to provide strategic advice and support to colleagues. You are able to manage own cross-functional process improvement projects through structured planning, executing and meeting deadlines.
You have experience within requirement for product development of medical devices for EU and US as well as knowledge of related directives, standards and guidelines. Lastly, you also need to have knowledge of the level of documentation required to develop a medical device from idea generation to regulatory approval.
You probably hold an academic degree in a scientific field and have relevant experience from working in a product development, engineering or quality assurance organization.
It is a requirement that you are fluent in oral and written English and that you thrive in a position that gives you the opportunity to travel about 20 days per year.
