As R&D Project Manager, you will act both as a manager of different projects and as a scientific expert. You will be responsible for all parts of the project phase including knowledge gathering, proposals, planning, budgeting, execution, and evaluation. Your daily tasks will be very versatile, and no two days will be the same. You will be a part of the R&D' team consisting of Ph.D. trained chemists and biologists as well as process engineers, laboratory technicians and process technicians with competencies in powder technology. The team’s work is globally oriented towards managing the company’s internal collaboration partners and other various stakeholders.
Your primary tasks will include:
-Leading cross-functional global research projects
-Communicating updates on projects and timelines as needed to stakeholders, team members and management
-Responsibility for both the scientific and the project steering-related parts of development activities within powder formulations and processes
-Managing, creating and proposing ideas for development activities within existing and new areas
-Supporting and collaborating with the Production department
-Monitoring the literature and patent landscape within the business area
-This job will involve 2-10 days of travelling a year in average
Your skills:
-Academic background (MSc/PhD) in natural sciences or similar
-Experience with project management and stakeholder management
-Able to take lead on projects, driving things forward and putting tasks into a larger perspective to achieve the best possible results
-You have an innovative mindset and thrives with working independently in an international environment
-Good communication and presentation skills, both face-to-face, in writing, and online
-Fluently in English both speaking and writing

-Open, positive mind and good interpersonal skills
-Ability to adapt to new situations and new facts and make decisions on short notice
-You feel comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
-You work with a sense of scientific and personal integrity
