Service Wind is part of the Renewable Division working with service and projects for the offshore wind industry, primarily in Denmark, Germany and UK. Our focus area is the full balance of plant for offshore wind farms (Offshore Substations, Transition Pieces, Foundations and Subsea Cables). We are covering most disciplines in-house and are supplying full scope solutions for our clients. You will be reporting to the Director for Service.
As a Project Lead Mechanical in Service Wind you will be working onshore with preparation and execution of assigned projects and jobs. However for surveys and for ensuring daily operations of special tasks you will be working offshore from time to time.
You will front Semco Maritime and Service Wind towards our clients during task execution and you will therefore be an ambassador with an eye for creating possible opportunities with and for the clients.
Travel of 30-50 days per year must be expected. Your main office is at our headquarters in Esbjerg DK or our office Norddeich DE.

Key responsibilities and tasks
- Establishing a clear objective and ensuring a well-defined and specified project scope, including work packages.
- Preparation of estimates, offers and calculations during the budget & quotation phase.
- Preparing Technical solutions
- Job Preparation, including method statement and risk assessment etc.
- Establishing the required project organization from project to project by working with department heads and our resources department.
- Handling day-to-day coordination with technicians and other project participants.
- Ensuring implementation of Semco HSE instructions and standards.
- Carrying out project planning and progress development to ensure timely deliveries.
- Being interface towards the clients.
Who we are looking for?
Professional profile
- A technical education e.g. Marine Engineer, engineer or the equivalent.
- Working experience from service and/or projects from the offshore industry (Wind & Oil & Gas), Marine or Similar.
- Good commercial understanding and administrative skills
Personal competences - Good communication and collaboration abilities.
- Good project leadership abilities.
- Good problem solving abilities.
- Organized and self-driven.
