Your position
As our new Project Assistant for one of our projects, you will face a wide variety of interesting tasks and responsibilities related to supporting the project manager. You will be joining our Transitional Energies division and will report to the Project Support Manager. You will have plenty of opportunities to learn new skills and take on different challenges within Semco Maritime.
At Semco Maritime safety is a core value, and in this role, you will contribute to maintaining and promoting a strong safety culture while delivering innovative solutions. Above all, your work will make a real change for the global energy sector.
Your place of work will be at our Global HQ located in Esbjerg, the hub of the Danish energy industry, right on the waterfront – views do not get any better than this. The position is full-time.
Your tasks & responsibilities
Working in our project department, you will have a broad variety of tasks mainly related to assisting the project managers and the project team, but you will also get the opportunity to take responsibility for your own tasks.

Your profile & qualifications
We expect that you hold a degree in technical design, administration, economics or similar. Experience from a similar position is an advantage but is by no means a requirement. Furthermore, you must be fluent in written and verbal English.

Your tasks & responsibilities
Working in our project department, you will have a broad variety of tasks mainly related to assisting the project managers and the project team, but you will also get the opportunity to take responsibility for your own tasks.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Assisting project managers with many different ad-hoc tasks and administrative work.
- Assisting with technical ad-hoc tasks in the team.
- Assisting in various task within the team; Follow-up on planning and resources, liaison with customers across Semco internally, budget & economy, reporting etc.
- Sparring with your project manager.
- Management of specific sub areas within the project.
- Supporting and adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards, in all activities
Your profile & qualifications
We expect that you hold a degree in technical design, administration, economics or similar. Experience from a similar position is an advantage but is by no means a requirement. Furthermore, you must be fluent in written and verbal English.
To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:
- Have a proactive, analytical, and organized approach to your assignments.
- Are result-oriented and structured.
- Possess strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel.
- Are service minded team player with a positive attitude.
- Have great interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards.
