Do you have an entrepreneurial and outgoing mindset and good technical skills within pumps technology? Do you have experience in the repair of pumps and knowledge in root cause analysis of pump failures? Then here is your chance as the new Tendering & Project Manager at Sulzer in Middelfart.
As Tendering & Project Manager, you will join a newly established Service Center in Middelfart. Together with the Service Center Manager, you will spearhead operations in Denmark and support the customers with the technical solutions fitting their operations and processes.
As the Tendering & Project Manager at Sulzer, you will primarily be responsible for functional management and furthermore for the strategic development of the tendering and project management needs of Sulzer’s Danish customers. You will work closely together with the workshop supervisor to define the scope of the work and manage workshop resources for customer projects. In case of absence of the Service Center Manager, you will be his deputy.
You are responsible for the execution of repair, spare parts and retrofit business. You will define scope of repair including required spare parts together with the workshop supervisor and prepare tenders with support from technical experts. You will purchase required spare parts and additional required services.
You will be in frequent contact with the Spare Parts and Engineering Department for the purchase of spare parts and development of solutions for the customers. Furthermore, you will develop and maintain the supplier network needed for the execution of repair and field service orders.
After the execution of orders, you will prepare the documentation for the customers and the final calculation for the invoicing. You will manage the repair schedule and be the internal contact for clients regarding technical questions and progress of orders.
Furthermore, you will:
• maintain the company CRM prospects database and related systems
• ensure the highest standard of quality in processes and tools and within EHS
• work with cross-divisional projects and procedures
• you will manage customer contract agreements to ensure compliance
Probably you have 3-5 years of experience as a Tendering & Project Manager for Service Projects (Repairs, Field Service) or a similar role dealing with B2B pump solutions in an international organization. Your educational background is not crucial, but preferably you have a technical degree at bachelor’s level or maybe you have a technician background within field service.
It is important that you have repair experience and that you are familiar with inspections, definition of repair scope, calculation and preparing of tenders.
You have experience with working with national clients at multiple organization levels. Furthermore, you can explain the technical solutions for the customers, and you can make scope of work including preparation of documentation.
Last, but not least, it is a requirement that you master Danish and English at a professional level, both written and spoken.
