Georg Jensen is looking for an experienced Design Project Manager with strong analytical and stakeholder management skills. You will report directly to the Creative Director. The team consists of 7 highly competent and creative people, all working to develop new products and re-think design for already existing products.

The role
The Design project manager acts as the interface between product marketing, product development and design in terms of project management, planning and management of samples for jewelry, watches and Home. The jobholder oversees the CAPEX and OPEX for all product categories and related tasks such as pre-validation of invoices.

The role
The Design project manager acts as the interface between product marketing, product development and design in terms of project management, planning and management of samples for jewelry, watches and Home. The jobholder oversees the CAPEX and OPEX for all product categories and related tasks such as pre-validation of invoices.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
Planning & coordination
- Seasonal planning for design and product development phases based on the overall master timeline
- Follow up on design phases with designers (ensure that planning and deliverables are respected according to agreed timeline)
- Organize and animate regular design and product development status meetings with product marketing, product development and design
- Maintain product information line plan with final designer approval and issue final approval for product
- Ensure hand-over to product management
- Follow-up on tool orders, samples and invoices
- Coordinate product design approvals with the legal department
- Special orders (quotation and follow-up)
Sample management
- Responsible for the sample inventory
- Order and follow up on samples with product development
- Hand-over of samples to product management after production approval
- Manage sample reviews
Your Profile:
The ideal candidate has a business management education. Experience in project management and planning is preferable.
The ideal candidate has the following competences:

- Networker, with strong stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and deliver results on time in collaboration with the team
- Business proficiency in English and Danish with strong communication skills
- Highly skilled MS Office user, especially Excel. Familiar with Adobe Photoshop, In-design and Axapta is a plus
