Then you are our new Project Manager to be part of the optimization journey in Biotech & Rare Disease Quality Control (BRD QC) in Gentofte.
The position As our new Project Manager, you play a major role in starting up and driving projects to support our business strategy. You will lead a variety of projects from optimization initiatives in a team to more complex tasks within our department or across departments. Your main tasks will be to: Ensure successful execution and benefit realisation of department initiatives together with our engaged and skilled professionals and laboratory technicians. Work close together with the management group and defining and deploying our strategy making it a reality through our projects. Our initiatives embrace all from implementing equipment and robots to office/laboratories rebuilding and coordinating process- and organisational optimizations. Qualifications The optimal candidate for this role holds: A relevant education within life-science, engineering or similar combined with experience within operations in pharma industry or a GMP regulated environment. At least 2 years of experience within project management and your skills and use of project management tools are proven in the projects you have led. Full proficiency in written and spoken English. Danish is highly advantageous. As a person, you are open minded and eager to see new possibilities within our area. You speak your mind with ease and managing a large network of people is something you are driven to. You are strong when it comes to creating and facilitating networks as well as keeping your stakeholders motivated, engaged, and informed. Your calm, innovative and goal-oriented thinking will help succeed in this role. About the department Quality Control is the part of Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD), where we are responsible for supporting the production with chemical and microbiological analyses. In this way, we ensure that our life-saving medicine for people with serious chronic diseases always has the right, high quality. We are more than 350 colleagues located in Gentofte, Hillerød, and Kalundborg. We drive improvements and innovation by, for example, working with Industry 4.0 to make the process faster and more seamless for the benefit of patients. Working at BRD, Novo Nordisk Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) is part of Novo Nordisk Product Supply, which is a global production network at the forefront of technology and quality production of pharmaceutical products. In BRD, we are not only supplying all Novo Nordisk products to people living with serious chronic diseases, but we also use our competences in biotech to support the growing efforts into completely new production platforms and therapy areas for Novo Nordisk. We are more than 3000 dedicated colleagues working at six production sites in Denmark and the United States. Here we cover the entire production value chain where raw materials are cultivated, purified, formulated, filled, assembled in devices, packed, and distributed across the globe. As more and more people need our products, we support Novo Nordisk's initiatives in new therapy areas.
