PROCESSING LINES, WASTE RECYCLING
For our customer Metso Denmark A/S, we are looking for a Project Manager to handle our increasing volume of sales projects worldwide.
You will be responsible for the Metso’s newest concept within complete processing lines for waste recycling. The solutions are implemented world wide.

THE CANDIDATE
You are an experienced project manager, having dealt with technical processing line projects.

In the project department, you will have approx. 10 colleagues, all dedicated to supplying customer specific aggregates and solutions.
Your main responsibility will be a new solution, where Metso aggregates are combined with third party equipment, in order to supply a full processing line. You will work in close cooperation with both internal and external contacts, and your tasks will be:

THE CANDIDATE
You are an experienced project manager, having dealt with technical processing line projects.
You are motivated by implementing high quality solutions, and you communicate easily with colleagues, suppliers, external partners and customers – all on international level. You take responsibility for your projects, and you master the combination of working both individually and in teams.
Your professional skills include:
- 4-7 years experience in working with technical processing line projects in the industry segment. You must be able to handle multiple projects.
- An education as a mechanical engineer, machine engineer or similar.
- Experienced in working in an international environment with extensive travelling and global time zones.
- Experience and a family structure that allows for at least 60 travelling days per year, often with short visibility.
- Knowledge in working with SAP or a similar ERP system.
- The ability to work up against a timeschedule, where deadlines must be respected and deliver succesfull projects, in some periods tight schedules.
- Have knowledge on the electrical project, being able to understand and process information.
- Experience in understanding technical drawings in Autodesk Inventor.
- Has proven knowledge in contract management.
- It is required that the project manager is fluent in English, in writing and verbally, and it would be and advantage if the second language was one of the following German, French or Chinese.
- Proficient with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) and IT in general.
Your personal skills include:
- A high drive and a strong team spirit.
- An outgoing nature with good communication skills.
- Ability to stay focused on details, results and deadlines.
- Good planning skills working independently, prioritizing projects and own work in relation to ongoing projects.
- Flexibility, with the ability to navigate in an often very dynamic environment.
- Ambitions to develop your own competencies and take part in the development of the Waste Recycling project department.
THE POSITION
In the project department, you will have approx. 10 colleagues, all dedicated to supplying customer specific aggregates and solutions.
Your main responsibility will be a new solution, where Metso aggregates are combined with third party equipment, in order to supply a full processing line. You will work in close cooperation with both internal and external contacts, and your tasks will be:
- Be an integral part of the sales phase and give actively work with the tender material provided as well as other quotation documents.
- Work with sales and service to build the proposal and agreement.
- Create the project in SAP and maintain this, through the active project period.
- Communicate with sales, designers, electrical engineers, external partners and the customer to ensure the optimal solution for all in the project.
- Schedule with purchasing, planning and external vendors, ensuring on time delivery.
- Manage large and complex projects in a cross -functional environment.
- Intensive global travelling, is a part of beeing a project manager in Metso Waste Recycling, as we want to support our customers where they run their business.
- Can handle contract management on a high level.
