Come and join our Danish Supply Chain team, in the exciting role as Demand Planner in our office in Vejle. Lantmännen Cerealia is on a growth journey and where we build our business through different sales channels and within several categories. To excel on efficiency and speed-to-market we are currently strengthening our Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP). Therefor we are looking for you, who has a great sense for business, people and numbers.

This is a permanent position and will be reporting to Supply Chain Manager in Denmark. Some travelling will occur, primarily to our other offices and facilities in within the Nordic countries.

This is what you will do
As Demand Planner in Lantmännen Cerealia, you are an important business partner to Sales and Finance. You ensure one view of sales volumes which reflects the market and customer dialogues via Sales. In the monthly sign-off process, you capture the shape of the sales volumes and its changes vs. last month. With the level of details to understand impact to supply, and the financial plan. You will also balance short-term perspective with long-term, to ensure forecast accuracy and customer service level.

With a business mindset, you facilitate dialogues cross-functionally to ensure proactive decisions and escalations when needed and support the development of our total supply chain with continuous focus on optimization and anchoring demand planning in the Danish organization.

This is what you need to succeed

  • Manage the effectiveness of the monthly demand planning process towards Sales and Finance, to ensure accurate long-term sales volumes. Output that is consistently translated into downstream volume concepts within the value chain. Contribution to optimal supply and financial planning
  • Monitoring forecast & sales promotions – short & long term – and ensuring necessary actions in close cooperation with Production & Sales.
  • Responsible for introduction of new products & sell-out process and needed actions
  • Continues improvement mindset with purpose to improve forecast accuracy, service level and reduction of waste within our processes. Contribute to process development within Process and Maintenance Forums for Planning
  • Project Management of minor optimization initiatives
  • Own the country/channel demand review meetings within the S&OP monthly cycle, where you build trust and commitment with key stakeholders internally and externally. In addition, facilitate common view and decision materials for the Country Executive S&OP meetings
  • Facilitate weekly follow-up meetings with Sales and Logistics to monitor and take actions on customer service performance. In some cases, end-to-end planning and communication with key customers

You have:

  • Academic degree or similar experiences
  • Extensive demand planning experience including promotion management, ideally from a FMCG business within the food industry
  • Experience of S&OP/IBP process
  • Great understanding of commercial and financial concepts
  • Thorough understanding of the Supply Chain process and the impact on the business
  • Advanced Excel and/or BI skills, comfortable working with large amounts of data
  • Familiar with IT tools (Movex, SO99+, Cognos, Microsoft Office)
  • Excellent spoken and written Danish, English and other Nordic languages is a plus

You are/have:

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical focus and ability to leverage information to support needed decisions
  • Change management skills are an advantage
  • Holistic view, with the ability to understand and coordinate cross-functional requirements

You have a desire to understand the industry, our offerings and value chain. You take ownership and make conclusions based on facts, which you can communicate back in a simplified way.
