Do you have project management experience with a portfolio of construction projects? Do you have the motivation and ambition to make the world a better place to live? Hydrogen as a green alternative to fossil fuels must be made commercially. Everfuel has the vision and plans ready and the projects are continuously rolling into the order book, so that is why a number of new positions are being created – are you the next Everfueller?
Everfuel is the new fuel company in Europe – providing green hydrogen for larger vehicle fleets like buses, trucks and taxies. Everfuel provides the missing link between renewable energy and green transportation as a partner, owner and operator of PtX plants, hydrogen distribution and hydrogen fueling stations.
About the position
As Project Manager, it will be your responsibility to plan, coordinate, manage and execute the company's plant projects. You identify project requirements together with the Sales Department and the Technical Department and, on this basis, prepare a schedule, resource requirements and financial budget for the projects. You make agreements with subcontractors and carry out the projects until facilities are handed over to the Operation Department. You will work with construction projects such as PtX plants with electrolysis process and with hydrogen fueling stations. Your first major project will be the establishment of a hydrogen plant in Fredericia, which will have a capacity of 20 MW with the possibility of expanding up to 1 GW.
You will work with several projects at the same time and therefore you must be able to portfolio manage the projects. You will be the company's first Project Manager and will therefore have a great influence on decisions regarding project management tools and models. It becomes your responsibility to build a scalable project culture and process that can work optimally in an international environment. The department is expected to grow and for the right candidate with managerial potential, the job can develop into a managerial job.
Your work day will of course be very changeable and you move quickly between the operational and the strategic.
Your tasks and project responsibilities will for a start include:
- Project Management
- Develop and execute Everfuel site projects
- Be the contact to project partners and authorities
- Secure building applications and various permits
- Involve Technical Department when needed
- Project budget responsible
You refer to the company’s CTO, Uffe Borup. The company currently consists of the 5 founding Everfuellers. Three new hires will be completed at the beginning of 2020 and by the end of 2020, the organization is expected to have grown to 15-20 employees.
About you
You will be projecting the establishment of technically complicated process plants, which is why you probably have a theoretical education as an Engineer or similar. You have solid project management experience probably at Senior Project Manager level, and have shown that you can complete larger construction projects to perfection. Maybe you are the talent on the rise to become a Team Lead for a Project Manager Department, but without the space available in your current organization. At Everfuel you have the opportunity to show that you are the man of the future and through your results you can show that you can be the Team Lead of the department.
You must have the drive and courage to lead the projects from plan to reality, and you must be close to the projects and have attention for the details but without losing yourself into the details. You must be good at stakeholder management and have a fine sense of timely care. You have a holistic mindset, and with your project management skills you always know the big picture. You work from the office in Høgild near Herning but must expect travel activity in connection with project execution.

You are strong at communication and your Danish and English are at the negotiating level both verbal and written. If you also know other languages, this is an advantage. Everfuel uses Dynamics 365 as an ERP system, which is why experience with Dynamics is an advantage.
