Primary Duties and Responsibilities: In the Active Products department, we are 23 highly skilled and enthusiastic engineers working with both upstream and downstream processes within pharma and biotechnology. We are responsible for designing the needed equipment to generate a specific product. The team is divided between our headquarters in Virum and our office in Kalundborg.
We can see a heavy workload ahead of us in the coming years, and most of it is going to be in Kalundborg. We are of course open to hiring people living in the Copenhagen area, but the right candidate has to be open to quite some travelling.
We strive to inspire our customers with new technologies and help them in finding the optimal solutions when building new facilities, expanding, or renovating existing ones. You will get the opportunity to participate in all phases of projects and learn from experts in all areas. All our activities are project-based, meaning that every new task will give you a new opportunity to develop your personal competences. You take an active role in your personal development by broadening your competencies, enhancing your knowledge and turning it into practice.
You will typically work as part of a multi-disciplinary team where your specific tasks can be:
We are looking for people with experience in a GMP environment, both at a senior level (+ 8 years of experience) and at an intermediate one (between 3 and 7 years). A senior process engineer in the Active Products department will typically also have the overall responsibility for a process package, including the management of the process & mechanical team in that package.

You will typically work as part of a multi-disciplinary team where your specific tasks can be:
- Calculate the production capacity of a facility
- Creation and update of P&ID’s as part of the process design
- Specification, selection, and procurement of process equipment
- Working with architects for the creation of the facility layout
- Working with automation for designing the control strategy of the process equipment
- Supervising the manufacturing and installation of equipment
- Participate in the equipment validation
We are looking for people with experience in a GMP environment, both at a senior level (+ 8 years of experience) and at an intermediate one (between 3 and 7 years). Required Qualifications:
- You have a degree in engineering within chemistry, biotechnology or pharmaceutical production
- You have minimum 3 years of experience in the life science/biotech industry.
- You speak and write Danish and English fluently
- You have a high personal drive and can work independently but also enjoy working together with colleagues in a team
- You take responsibility when solving projects and you thrive in a dynamic work environment
- You are result-oriented and have a strong customer understanding and a consultant mindset
- You possess the communication skills and attitude required to work on a consultancy basis for our customers
