The position In this role, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of individuals towards a common goal of successfully delivering a technology project in the core process with high business impact. The project will require collaboration and cooperation with several areas within PS API (Product Supply, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) and across Novo Nordisk. You will be responsible for creating a positive team environment and driving the project organization, consisting of project managers, stakeholders from M1 (API Manufacturing I), contracted engineering professionals and engineering partners. You will have an opportunity to: Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork within the project team Develop and mentor project managers to achieve their full potential Ensure project portfolio governance according to our governance standard, while encouraging input and insight from all team members Ensure compliance with our project management methods, including the Quality Management System and the EHS Management system Be part of the M1 Projects Management Team, working together to support each other and the success of the projects. Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we imagine that your experiences and competencies include: An academic degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Project Management, or a similar field Several years of project management experience, and some experience with large-scale projects Experience leading and developing people Experience in pharmaceutical processes Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, fluency in English, and experience in collaborating with stakeholders on all levels As a person, you are highly independent, proactive, and able to add value to every aspect of project execution. You have the ability to manage change, lead and engage skilled technical professionals, and coach project team members and owners. You excel at stakeholder management and possess strong communication skills. About the department
The position is organized in the M1 Projects department. M1 Projects is responsible for the investment portfolio and execution of projects in the production facilities. The department is organized in a matrix with approx. 160 colleagues executing the portfolio, consisting of many projects in different phases. The team is newly established and you will be the Project Director responsible for executing a large technology project in our core process that is defining the standard for future implementations across Novo Nordisk. You and your team will be integrated in the existing matrix organization, sourcing skills and competencies to execute the project. The number of stakeholders to manage is high, and we create fantastic results, by cooperation and communication across the organization. Working at Novo Nordisk
