In Maersk we have decided to accelerate our efforts to decarbonize our fleet and have a number of different projects to support this. One of them is building the StarConnect application.
StarConnect is our bunker and operational performance system using the newest technology to give us the most reliable and timely data insights and enable our crew to make smarter decisions in order to optimize the fuel consumption.
You will be working for Fleet Management and Technology in Maersk, which means you will be working closely with the largest shipping fleet in the world.
You will be working side by side with the specialists who are responsible for daily operations of vessels and also the ship and IT nerds who develop the future of vessels.
Through the organization you will get exposed to different aspects of ship management ranging from HR to, safety, compliance and technical support and development.
In your role you will be assigned to the StarConnect project and be responsible, together with other change and process professionals to implement the future processes that will ensure correct usage by both the vessel crew and the shore teams who are supporting our vessels on how to optimize the use of engines, voyage planning and execution, speed and port stays.
We have a large organisation working globally with shore functions primarily based out of Europe, India and Singapore and a fleet occupying 12.000 seafarers sailing all across the world.
As you will need to engage with both shore staff and seafarers, you will need to be well accustomed with digital collaboration, working in projects that are physically dispersed and therefore have a global and culturally adaptable mindset.
You will join the Crew Engagement and Business Process team which means your closest colleagues all will be working within Change management, Communication, Process development and implementation.

You will work close together with our Change Management lead and be responsible for:
• Driving our change management activities to ensure all relevant stakeholders feel sufficiently informed, involved and engaged.
• Contribute to the continuous Expanding our communication channels and methods relevant for the different target groups
• Support our product specialists, subject matter experts and management with communication and change tasks
• Documenting and communicating to key stakeholders the expected benefits and improvement potentials stemming from the changes in processes and the new Product solutions
• Support subject matter experts in planning and Producing material for training sessions and key learning elements such as user-manuals, quick-guides and posts on internal collaboration tools and video bites.
• Drive all aspects of the change discipline. This covers the whole lifecycle from planning, managing, reinforcing and measuring successes
The ideal candidate will have a relevant Bachelor or master’s degree and 1-3 years full time experience in a similar position.
You are keen to learn and expand your existing competencies and thrive on new challenges.
Furtermore you:
• Through your education you have gained a systematic and method based approach to performing analysis and designing solutions.
• Understand the basics of how to execute and implement change across diverse employee groups and are good at establishing trusting relationships with your stakeholders.
• Are comfortable with facilitation and training anything from small to large meetings, workshops etc.
• Have experience from other transformations include some element of change to roles, competencies or processes.
• Are interested in and understand the importance of strategy but most important you are passionate about Change Management and find it interesting working at an operational level.
• Are capable of scoping and planning your own tasks and enjoy working with others.
On a personal level you are focused on creating tangible results and believe in a collaborative approach to creating change.
You are happy to roll up your sleeves and work on the details and at the same time understand the importance of creating the “bigger picture”.
Finally your English is excellent both written and verbally allowing you to make complex material easily digestible. You have a flair for combining your storytelling with visual elements.
