This creates exciting opportunities for Saxo Bank, and to help capture these we are looking to expand the Business Development team.

Business Development facilitates the execution of Saxo Bank’s strategy and oversees Saxo Banks portfolio of projects, ensures efficient and well-coordinated execution across departments, global offices, and the value-chain in general. Moreover, we are directly responsible for driving key strategic cross value chain projects covering a) White Label Customer Solutions and Implementations, b) customer targeted Product Development, and c) developing the Regulatory, Finance and Risk portfolio. The successful candidate will focus on the latter.

Deliver on the regulatory agenda

This opportunity is for a Project Manager/BA to support and drive projects within our Regulatory, Finance and Risk portfolio. Your daily work will focus on being workstream responsible, engaging stakeholders from across the Bank to discuss regulatory implications from a business, risk and operational perspective and not least the customer experience. You will be responsible for the complete project lifecycle i.e., from understanding and scoping the project, conducting the business analysis in close cooperation with various stakeholders across the value chain to writing up business requirements, creating the project plan and defining clear success criteria. This is done in close collaboration with IT in accordance with any regulatory timelines required to be compliant.

The ideal candidate:

  • Has 4+ years of participating in complex projects within the financial industry - experience from a larger financial institution, consultancy, software house, law firm or regulatory authority is a plus
  • Has a good understanding and experience in one or more of the following areas: MIFID II/MIFIR, ESMA, PSDII, SFTR, CSDR, ESG, BMR
  • Has a good understanding of financial instruments/areas: Bonds, Funds, Currencies, Equities, FX, Margin Lending, Listed Derivatives, CFDs – pricing, risk, execution, post trade, market and corporate events.
  • Has experience from working in a project oriented organization with a good understanding of the importance of a clear project plan with well-defined milestones
  • Views regulation as a client opportunity
  • Welcomes and proactively engage in the interaction with key stakeholders throughout the organization in areas such as Regulatory Affairs, Operations, Finance and Risk

As a person, you are analytical, proactive, result-oriented and customer-focused, with a high level of energy. Moreover, you are motivated by driving change and by structuring the unstructured.

You find it easy to communicate complex topics in a straightforward manner, thus you have strong language and presentation skills in English. Danish language skills are an advantage, but not a requirement.
