About the role
If you love to work with C-level and key stakeholders, are passionate about project management, communications and working across an organisation, and have experience with building and delivering on strategic projects in close collaboration with multiple stakeholders, you may be the Project Manager Communications we are looking for at Saxo Bank.
In this role, you are the primary responsible for One Saxo Call, one of the two major internal communications channels in the bank. One Saxo Call is a treasured live event within the organisation and is a crucial tool for Management in delivering information across regions. It aims to grow and nurture a common culture within the Saxo Group and provides transparency around the vision and mission of the Bank, and is hosted by our COO, CCO and CSXO who present the latest updates on commercial priorities, market activity, and milestones reached during the past week on the different strategic and commercial priorities. Since its introduction in May 2018, One Saxo Call has become an institution in our organisation.
In addition of being responsible for One Saxo Call, you will also project manage key initiatives with Communications. These include helping to assure One Tone of Voice in external communications throughout the bank and keeping track of the many concurrent projects and initiatives anchored in the department.
On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare the content for One Saxo Call with timely delivery. Work with key stakeholders to make this event a standout experience, incl. music and video to ensure a relevant and engaging One Saxo Call with clear context and storytelling
- Work closely with all departments and regions to ensure a high level of quality in all internal communication in close collaboration with the Head of Internal Communication
- Have an overview and coordinate projects and initiatives within internal Comms., strategy and PR anchored in the Communications department, in close collaboration with team members
- Manage plan and milestones for projects and initiatives in the Communications department
- Assist team members in driving the internal and external PR & communication strategies and initiatives of Saxo Bank
You will be based in Copenhagen and be part of Saxo’s Communications team. You will report to the Global Head of Communication in Copenhagen and work across the global organisation to make a true impact in this role.
As Project Manager Communications you possess:
- Strong stakeholder and project management skills
- Understanding of the financial services industry, products and services
- Strong communications skills, incl. storytelling and context creation
- Good articulation in English
- Ability to plan and adjust quickly
- Experience and ability to work with C-level on a daily basis
- Proactive and solution oriented attitude to tasks
- Combination of strong attention to details and holistic overview
- Experience with Power Point, Power BIs and business reporting tools
- Independent driver of activities and projects
Your profile
You have excellent understanding of project management and C-level interactions.
You also have a strong command of verbal and written English.
You understand the financial services industry, preferably also investment banking or similar.
You are not afraid to dive into the details and execute with efficiency and impact, and you are also able to zoom out and propose changes to ensure context and storytelling with maximum impact.
You have a university level education within PR, Communication or Marketing but could also be other related fields that demand strong writing and project management skills. You could be graduating soon.
Your communication and interpersonal competences are much appreciated.
As a person, you are curious and keen to always learning and improving.
