Vestas Blades Launch & Introduction Centre (BLEC) is a function within the Blades organisation in the Manufacturing organisation. The function is responsible for delivery of our manufacturing production design, including special projects, development of processes and tooling of the blades in Vestas.
BLEC Tooling is focused on manufacturing tools which are used as a main tool or supporting tool in wind blade production. You will then become the subject matter expert for long-term ownership of the technologies and tools. We are a very diverse multicultural team consisting of 13 employees and you will be technical lead for two colleagues.

This position requires approximately 35 days of travel per year.

Responsibilities
- Set safety as first priority in line with HS&E policy
- Overall handle cases for Engineering Change Requests
- Taking lead into specific technology areas and formulate future technology roadmaps
- Being a go-to person as you are the specialist
- Motivate and inspire your colleagues through your technical leadership and build up professional competencies within own area
- Execution and Signing of FAT, SAT, TOC
Qualifications
- Bachelor or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Production Engineering or Marine Engineering
- Extensive knowledge within Manufacturing and Design for Manufacturing
- Min. 5 years of experience from a large global manufacturing company
- Experience with risk assessment by using relevant FMEA tools
- Experience with development and deliver results through other people

- Good social skills
- Able to delegate tasks and encourage a culture of trust
- Capable of coordinating technical projects cross departments and cultures
- Capable of solving problems by using relevant methods and tools
- Ability to work with complex solution covering tools, processes and materials
