Job description
As Project Manager you will be fully responsible for your own projects throughout the project lifecycle including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and status reporting. Your projects will support several Terma application areas and focus primarily on Product Development and Sustainment including Systems Engineering, SW, HW and Mechanical disciplines.
This position also supports our continued Project Portfolio Management efforts, i.e. ensuring data quality, carrying out analyses and scenario planning, and preparing presentation material. Driving continuous improvements projects and activities may in time become part of the job as well.
By being visible and following up on performance, you create understanding and commitment to project progress from everyone. This is further supported by your ability to foresee risks and address uncertainties, and by handling the associated mitigating and corrective actions in time.
To a large extent, your success depends on your ability to manage stakeholders by means of communication and negotiation, and how you handle change requests throughout the project planning and execution phases.
At times, you must be prepared for a challenging and dynamic environment. You must also count on some travelling – primarily domestic – when success depends on it.

Your professional qualifications
- Proven track record in delivering projects on-scope, on-time, and on-cost
- Experience working with product development and sustainment
- Experience working with internal change initiatives and carrying out analytical tasks
- Strong leadership skills including communication and stakeholder management
- Flair for managing project risks and scope changes
- MSc or BSc in Engineering, Master of Business Administration, or similar relevant education
- +3 years’ work experience from similar position level, preferable within similar domain (regulated)
- Project Management certificate and experience with value chain and IT application would be a plus
- Fluent in written and spoken English
