Develop your career in project management
As a project manager at Terma, you will be part of the project management organisation within Surveillance & Mission Systems. Here, you will manage projects related but not limited to our security programmes which operate globally. Majority of our customer projects are based on delivery and optimization of commercialized high-end radar products and tailored system solutions. The applications vary and go from on-shore to off-shore radar projects.

Use your technical insight to drive our global commercial projects
Depending on your experience, we will make sure to give you the proper introduction. Once you are up and running, you will be tasked with ensuring that your projects move in the right direction and that we deliver profitable projects on time. You will typically manage numerous projects simultaneously and you can expect to travel internationally 10-20 days a year.
You will be in direct contact with customers and end users. Therefore, a central part of your role will be to follow through and ensure that your stakeholders are continuously kept in the loop. You create understanding and commitment by addressing uncertainties and risks and handling subsequent corrective actions on time. Some of your typical day-to-day tasks will be to:

Our radars are part of security and safety applications – and our applications protect infrastructure, coastlines and airports worldwide. This means that you will interact with a range of different customers and market segments as you ensure that your projects stay on track,” elaborates Morten Rasmussen.

- Set goals: Be ambitious but insist on realism
- Contract management and budget handling
- Plan and follow up on several project phase activities and re-curing tasks
- Support sales with estimates and risks assessment in commercial offerings
- Act as focal point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders

- You hold a BSc in electronic engineering or similar
- You are able to work independently in a dynamic environment
- You understand the commercial aspects in a project combined with your follow through discipline
- You are highly structured and understand the necessity of coordination and follow-up
- You are able to deliver quality with a service-oriented perspective
- You speak and write English fluently
