Connected Research Labs in Digital, Data & IT - Research & Early Development (DDIT-RED) supports the strategic digital transformation of our R&ED organization. The primary mission of the department is to support our Research laboratories globally on everything Digital, e.g. through enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of IT operations. The department aims to create a streamlined, efficient and innovative IT foundation that supports cutting-edge research through global solutions that address local needs, ensuring that researchers have the best tools and support to drive scientific discovery. About the position
As an IT Product Owner in IT Research & Early Development, you’ll be responsible for leading a broad portfolio of services and products that support the day to day operations of researchers in the labs globally. You’ll work closely with the agile team, users, and various stakeholders to ensure value delivery to labs in the form of e.g. upgrading IT infrastructure, providing IT sparring on new solutions and equipment, simplifying IT processes, enforcing best practices within compliance, and ensuring secure data management on a global scale. The agile team is fairly new, hence your IT expertise as well strategic mindset will be instrumental in driving innovation and delivering value to our users. What you will do: Define and deliver the product vision and roadmap Ensure full value creation by maximizing benefits and positive outcomes for research Own the product backlog, i.e., build and prioritize features, approve and reject deliverables, coordinate with others on shared deliveries Represent the users and be passionate about delivering quality solutions that meet their evolving needs Ensure stories are delivered according to agreements and hold the team accountable for on-time and highest value delivery Ensure quality, security, and compliance standards are followed
Skills we look for
To be successful in this role you have: At least bachelor's degree in relevant area, or equivalent work experience +3 years of experience as a IT Product Owner or IT Project Manager Preferably enterprise organization experience, with automation and cloud technologies Strategic thinking to drive future-oriented decisions Fluent spoken and written English As a person you are curious about new technologies, have a proactive approach, strong communication, and excellent collaboration skills. You have ability to engage with various stakeholders - scientists, architects, product management and scrum masters in a constructive and collaborative way.
