As part of COWI's Global MEP team, you will have the opportunity to work on the world's most exciting energy and infrastructure projects. The MEP team is currently working on the world's longest suspension bridge in Turkey, new metros in Scandinavia and Canada, record breaking tunnels and rail project.

In this position, you will join our global team of experts and will be based in our head office in Lyngby, Copenhagen. You will be reporting to the Head of Section and be accountable for leading all aspects of project management related to mechanical and electrical infrastructure projects.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for:
- leading a design team and/or project, mentoring of staff, developing and implementing design best practices
- leading projects from initial concept, through the planning process to implementation
- reviewing and approving design documentation, ensuring design conformance with codes and client requirements
- preparing work plans, resource allocation, scheduling, budgets and monitoring
- leading proposals for new work, budgeting, and preparing contract documents
- develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
- identify, pursue and participate in capture planning for new opportunities

Furthermore, you should have:
- master’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
- +15 years of experience as a project manager
- strong knowledge on mechanical and electrical systems
- preferable certification in Project Management e.g. PMP
- experience with managing large infrastructure projects
- experience with preparation of proposals and fee estimates
- strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- ability to listen and understand client needs
- existing networks within the MEP and/or infrastructure and energy sector
- willingness to travel to meet clients or construction sites
- interest and willingness to work with BIM
- ability to communicate effectively in a Scandinavian language can be an advantage
- you are expected to actively promote and embed Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in all your work and support and comply with all organizational initiatives, policies and procedures on EDI
