The Position
As a Project Manager for Filling Lines, you will play an essential role in the successful implementation of world class technology and project standards that covers the implementation of Isolator Filling lines and the associated processes surrounding this. Your responsibility will be to drive the Work-Package deliverables, while supporting the overall project goals of delivering a world class solution in a time frame that challenges the traditional approach. While supporting the overall program in reaching major milestones, you will have your own sub-projects and tracks that you will be driving to completion with your chief resources. Therefore, along with your team members you will be working in coordination with cross-functional stakeholders (QA, automation, operational readiness, etc.). Some of your other responsibilities will include: • Ensuring stakeholder involvement across the global sites.
• Project Risk assessments and timely escalations.
• Efficient Supplier management through structured communication and meeting facilitations.
• Schedule and Cost management.
• Supporting activities revolving around various Engineering and Validation gates like FAT, SAT, IQ/OQ, etc.
• Managing changes coming into the established baseline while evaluating the respective project impacts. In this position you will be engaging with (Senior) Project Managers, Subject Matter Experts, Specialists, and other international stakeholders across US, Europe, Asia and Latin America. Some travel activity within Europe is to be expected. Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you need to have academic degree within Natural Sciences, Engineering or similar domains. Additionally, we expect you to have:
• Project management experience on technical or complex projects.
• Experience with driving design processes, documentation for qualification and implementation of new equipment.
• A flair for leadership and the ability to create results in a global stakeholder landscape.
• A quality mindset and a drive to create the “right” solutions while challenging the status quo supported with data.
• Experience with aseptic process production design and GMP is considered a big advantage, but not a must. An excellent command of verbal and written English is required while command of Danish / French / Mandarin / German / Portuguese is a plus. As an individual, you are skilled at establishing relationships. You are proactive, solution-oriented and knowledge sharing is natural to you. You work systematically and are committed to your work and your colleagues. Additionally, you are naturally good at collaborating and communicating, also across professional groups, you can manage a high workload at times without losing sight and you have a can-do mindset. Finally, you embrace professional and personal diversity.
About the Department
The Fill & Finish Expansions department is responsible for designing, planning, and building all major fill & finish expansion projects across Novo Nordisk. We are a newly established and growing area, focused on rethinking our fill & finish facilities with the use of modern technology. Our goal is to set the standards for the facilities of the future, designing facilities that we will still be proud of 20 years from now. As part of our global approach, you will have the opportunity to work with multiple sites and cultures across the world. Our department Technology Standards is situated in the newly created SVP area of Fill & Finish Expansions. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approx. 20,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 50,000 employees. You will be walking into the Filling team comprising of 10 people currently.
