EnviroTech is at present manning up with strong focus on the pioneering Plastcon concept, where the first full scale project is currently approaching the end of the commissioning phase.

The innovative Plastcon technology, through complex multi-technological processes, converts waste plastic into re-usable streams, primarily focused on oil-ingredients, that can be refined to various uses. Among these, the re-production of plastics, thus enabling a circular approach to manufacturing, usage and re-usage of plastic products. Read more about the Plastcon process.

Professional execution of Plastcon projects is naturally groundlaying for the success of customers and EnviroTech. The projects are major in terms of technological complexity and economy, and managing execution requires substantial experience and competencies.

The Senior Project Manager is the overall Project Manager, responsible for executing the individual Plastcon project. This includes setting and securing compliance, with the scope as sold, schedule and budget for the complete project.

Project execution will be supported by a project team of package managers, each having their own team of project engineers and supervisors, as well as various support functions, such as planners, controller- and procurement support i.a.

It is the Senior Project Managers role to select and lead the project team through the project execution from handover from Sales to handover to Facility Management.

Line reference is Head of Project Management and project reference is the Project Steering Committee.

Areas of responsibility:

  • Review all project documents and assume project “ownership” at handover from sales.
  • Select, engage, monitor, and manage resources/project team.
  • Identify project requirements.
  • Retrieve Lessons Learned from previous projects.
  • Define and obtain approval of project assumptions.
  • Schedule management of project.
  • Conduct Project kick-off with Client and internally with stakeholders.
  • Conduct project planning to secure execution according to Stage Gate Plan.
  • Evaluate project risks and conduct Risk Management.

  • Contract management with support from Legal and Procurement as needed.
  • Continuous improvement of processes during execution.
  • Manage requests for variation orders.
  • Manage interfaces between EnviroTech scope of delivery and external environment.
  • Assure retrieving, preparation and archiving of all project-related documentation.
  • Change- and claims management.
  • QHSE Management.
  • Obtain required approvals from authorities.
  • Follow up on progress metrics with sub project managers.
  • Lead project meetings as needed.
  • Track/control/report on project expenditures against budget and estimate at completion.
  • Confirm/assure in- and outgoing payments (customers, suppliers and contractors).
  • Support Package Managers and Procurement in managing and mitigation of notifications and claims from sub suppliers.
  • Create and present progress reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Handover lessons learned from the project to relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to development of new Project Management tools, procedures, and templates.
  • Plan, prepare, and execute handover to operations.

Professional qualifications:

  • Engineering background (BSc or MSc). Other educations can be accepted, in case relevant experience within the above-mentioned areas of responsibility can be verified.
  • PMP certification from PMI is preferred. Alternatively, another equivalent recognised Project certification, such as IPMA level B.
  • +10 years of experience executing projects according to recognized project management accreditation (i.e., PMI, IPMA, Prince2 or similar) and according to stage gate model is preferred.
  • Experience executing complex technological plant projects (process-, power-, oil & gas or similar).
  • Some managerial experience is preferred.
