For the Femern project, which is Northern Europe’s biggest construction project resulting in the longest immersed tunnel in the world, we are looking for Senior Process Engineer to provide the Controls Division team with the expertise to deliver the project in the most effective manner and with solid scheduling & reporting updates and KPIs status.

Who is FLC?

Femern Link Contractors, FLC, is the joint venture responsible for the design and construction of the immersed tunnel, tunnel portals and ramps. Our joint venture consists of nine international construction companies with individual experience in large infrastructure projects.

Together, we are committed to working together to deliver a state-of-the-art immersed tunnel, portals and ramps, delivered on time and safely, in a sustainable and ethical manner.

Responsibilities:

At the pre-construction stage the Senior Process Engineer shall support the key stakeholders with the development of optimized tools to report and analyse project scopes and objectives.

At the execution stage the Senior Process Engineer shall 1) Monitor, update, and communicate the variances of current status and the impact of project changes and variations. 2) Support, monitor, update, analyse and communicate the risks and opportunities of the Project.

The ideal candidate has an engineering and construction in heavy infrastructure background, contract and claims knowledge as well as risks and opportunities management, with the ability to work with strict deadlines and willing to learn and develop a career in the Project Control, claims, risks and opportunities field.

Main tasks:

Develop tools and optimize processes for the monthly progress reporting together with the cost control and planning team.

  • Support the collection of datas to establish the monthly report
  • Support, develop and Implement Lean and Last Planner System meetings and procedures.
  • Support of execution team to define, collect and present the key figures, KPI of their production. Propose together with execution manager any improvements based on the analysis of the production datas presented.
  • Ensure that any discrepancies are analysed on a monthly basis and actions identified and communicated in a timely manner through various dashboards in Power-BI.
  • Prepare and update as appropriate any supporting documents for potential claims (cost calculation, schedule impact analysis).
  • Support with any Change Management / Time Impact analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, or similar.
  • +8 years’ experience in heavy infrastructure projects.
  • Competency with CPM scheduling software Oracle Primavera P6 EPPM.
  • Expert competency in Excel and Power-Bi.
  • Competency with Lean Construction approach and Last Planner System implementation.
  • Good understanding and experience on implementation of daily and monthly reporting processes and digital tools.
  • Good understanding of Construction industry heavy equipment and subcontractor’s management.
  • The ability to reconcile time and cost information.
  • Knowledge and practical application FIDIC or NEC form of contracts.
