We are expanding the team with a process engineer to support the increased quantity of products we introduce and maintain in production at sub-contractors globally.-
General Responsibilities
You will be our key technical interface between the production, sub-contractors and the R&D departments. Your main responsibilities and tasks will be:
- Involvement in R&D projects to ensure efficient design transfer to production
- Responsible for the day-to-day technical support of our sub-contractors, including first level support and troubleshooting of technical questions and issues
- Responsible for Supply Chain’s tasks in Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), including coordination with suppliers regarding outsourced production
- Responsible for the quality and maintenance of documentation used for manufacturing
Experience / Qualifications
The ideal applicant will have most of the qualifications below:
- Minimum 2-3 years of practical experience in electronics industry, with focus on manufacturing
- Relevant education at master/bachelor/technician level
- On-hand experience with design transfer to production, including preparation of work instructions and process descriptions
- Experienced with execution of ECOs
- Good hands-on problem-solving approach and communication skills
- You are structured and systematic in your approach and can maintain the overview with multiple tasks simultaneously
