Then we have a unique opportunity for you in our Hearing Instruments Group’s Commercial Operation team, where we are looking for an experienced Commercial Project Director.

As the Director, Commercial Project Management, you will be a part of our Commercial Operations team in the Hearing Instrument Group (HIG) and you will enter the Commercial Operations Leadership Team.
The Commercial Operations team consists of Commercial Directors & Marketing Activation who works directly with assigned countries, our Strategic account management and Private label team, Global Training & Sales enablement and Events. The area’s role is to lead and support our efforts in activating the full hearing instrument wholesale’s potential across all brands and private labels, in all hearing aid sales channels, markets, and customers.
Therefore, we hope you appreciate working in an international environment with many and diverse stakeholders. You will cause real impact through good argumentation and solid analysis. Moreover, you will often lead indirectly through the matrix. However, your work is guided by a good collaboration model and governance that ensures that you sit at the right fora and meeting structures are in place.
We expect you to have an international business background and an education on Master level. You have worked with sales/ marketing/ service/ business development in a global company before joining Demant or potentially worked as a management consultant before moving to the industry side.
As a person, you naturally develop trust-based relationships. You are a good listener and possess interpersonal skills enabling you to deliver projects in a matrix organization with many stakeholders across multiple sites. You are organized, self-driven, with a forward thinking and curious mind-set. As a person, you act in an enthusiastic way and aim to add value through your comprehensive analytic mindset and strategic toolbox. It is important that you get motivated by designing, but also contributing to driving and ensuring implementing of projects. And that you can shift between developing, driving and supporting dependent on the tasks.
The role includes people management, so skills & experience with leadership is needed as well as a natural interest in encouraging and leading people and in developing and changing organizations.

Key Responsibilities
- Working closely with the VP of Commercial Operations, being the sparring partner, support developing the strategy process in the function, and support in the management of the topics that goes across Commercial Directors and the department.
- Being the functional leader of the Marketing Activation team, ensuring the further development and role in the organization and the markets. This in close cooperation with the Commercial Directors, the Market Managers and through alignment with stakeholders in Global Marketing and with larger initiatives running as Marketing excellence Academy.
- Being the functional lead of our visits and Event activities. Ensuring the high standards continues and a continuous development takes place.
- Be the Commercial Operation interface to HIG Strategy & Program Office, International Sales Strategy & Project Office, and the North America equivalent. In addition, build a close corporation with the Global Marketing Project Office and the PPM equivalent.
- Develop defined projects and deliveries within the Commercial Operation team, ensure quality in reporting and oversight of planning and execution.
- Deliver projects and deliveries that goes across Hearing Instrument Group/ Sales, among others e.g. the Global Sales & Marketing Plan, that gathers an overview of Marketing and Sales deliveries to the markets.
- Take part in the SAFe implementation in Commercial Operations
