European Energy covers all phases of wind and photovoltaic (PV) solar projects, from early development to operation and/or divestment of assets. Our company of 140 employees has since 2004 installed more than 1,000 MW of renewable energy. We operate globally and employ 20 different nationalities at our office in Søborg, Copenhagen. Our mission is to be a significant force in the global transition to a fossil free society.
As our new Project Manager in our Central European Team you will work from our office in Søborg primarily working with European Energy’s business in Poland. The Central European Team’s markets include Germany, Poland, France & Greece. You will quickly become familiar with technical as well as financial and administrative details of our renewable assets and contribute to manage internal and external work streams.
In cooperation with your highly experienced and motivated commercial, legal and technical colleagues, you contribute to assessing feasibility and potential of projects and bringing them through the construction stage. Finally, you will consult and survey partners and subcontractors securing continuous development and construction of our project portfolio in Poland. You have solid interpersonal skills to negotiate with local suppliers, service providers and communicate with shareholders such as banks.

The position entails navigating in a dynamic environment with many stakeholders and occasional challenges, which is why you must thrive with unforeseen events and shifts in priorities. You can expect traveling to Poland 1-2 times a month.

Professional skills we expect from you
- You have completed a bachelor or master at university level or an equivalent institution within engineering, economics or similar
- At least 3 years of experience in project management, preferably from a similar role
- Knowledge of solar technologies
- Experience within financial modelling and analysis is an advantage
- You are an expert user in MS Office and Excel
- You master Polish and English at a professional level
