For this position the main Business Unit is Surveillance & Mission Systems (SMS); dealing with Radar Systems, Naval Solutions, Wind Farm Solutions, Mission Solutions and Critical Infrastructure Protection.
SMS is growing, and we need a motivated and experienced project manager to help secure our growth. SMS operates primarily international, and you will have a wide interface with both external and internal stakeholders in DK and abroad. You will be working out of our office in either Lystrup, Aarhus or from our brand-new office space in Søborg. We offer flexible working conditions with the opportunity to work from home as well.
About the department
As a Project manager within SMS - Naval and C2, you will join our group of 8 experienced project managers, responsible for executing international customer projects. Our implementation and development projects always focus on high quality, customer satisfaction and prompt delivery. We have a high level of team spirit and always have the time for helping each other and we succeed as a team.
The Position and responsibilty
You will have the overall responsibility of your projects and execute them throughout the lifecycle from initial startup to final customer acceptance and handover. Due to the nature and size of the projects the execution is often over several years, which demands a capability of a long-term focus and ongoing dialog with our customers and suppliers. You will have several parallel projects within your portfolio and will work in close collaboration with our project managers in Asia and North America. The position will entail some travel and you should expect between 25-30 travel days a year.
Our success is secured in close collaboration and stakeholder management with our highly experienced and professional colleagues within Sales, TEC, Production and Technical Service as well as external suppliers, by ongoing dialogue and follow-up during execution of advanced technical projects.

Qualifications and skills
Professional qualifications:
- You have an academic background e.g., a bachelor or master’s degree within electronic or mechanical engineering
- You are an experienced project manager with several years of experience with technical advanced projects and preferably certified within project management
- Experience within the defense or security industry as well as experience working with a highly technical product is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Accustomed to managing medium to large scale projects in a global environment
- Complete project lifecycle project management experience. From scoping and quoting throughout the project implementation and customer sign-off
- Proven track record for executing customer projects with advanced technology with the combination of HW and SW solutions.
- Proven experience in customer-facing activities
- Commercial awareness with focus on all financial aspects
