Process Engineer, Power-to-X

European Energy is a Danish privately owned company in rapid growth. We cover all phases of wind and photovoltaic (PV) solar projects, from early development to operation and in some cases divestment of assets as well as Power-to-X. Our company of +400 employees has since 2004 installed more than 2.0 GW of renewable energy. We operate globally and employ 30 different nationalities at our HQ in Copenhagen and our offices in 16 other locations, primarily in Europe. Our vision is to play a key role in the green transition by creating the power of tomorrow, today.
You will be part of our Power-to-X department which today consists of 21 committed colleagues. We are currently working on several utility scale projects in Denmark as well as North and South America. As Process Engineer you will be a vital part of the team and get the chance to work with some of the biggest Power-to-X plants in an engaged department where you will get the chance to shape your role.
In the position, you will find yourself in an environment with a big variation of interesting tasks with design, configuration and development of Power-to-X processes. You will have a close link with our EPC function and have an important role in the workstreams between the teams.

Areas of responsibilities
- Design, configure and develop Power-to-X processes as part of the technology group
- Generate project documents required for designs for e-methanol/e-fuel plants and system integration
- Provide input for evaluation of key items in procurement phase
- Support during commissioning of plants
- Analyze operational units, verify data and optimize the running process
- Provide feedback to design phase
Your profile
- You have at least five years of experience from a similar role
- You have an education within chemical engineering
- You have very good oral and written communication skills in English
- You have experience with energy- or process plants
