The position As Supply Chain Project Manager, you will be taking the lead on setting-up and defining the supply chains for new Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs), directly influencing the launch and delivery of our upcoming products. As they become an integrated part of our business, it is crucial to establish a trusted and close collaboration, leveraging our business understanding and efficiently build a robust supply chain. Some of your main responsibilities entail: Defining warehousing and transportation strategies Ensuring seamless system integration Setting supply-chain KPIs and safety-stock levels Developing and implementing resilient supply chain processes Establishing effective communication flows and delineating roles and responsibilities both internally and with the CMOs We are committed to continuously enhancing the professionalism of our operational practices, providing you with the opportunity to significantly influence how we approach robustness, cost optimisation, and complexity reduction within our supply chain. In this position, you will acquire broad knowledge of the entire Novo Nordisk product portfolio while collaborating with international CMOs in Europe, Asia, and North America. Internally, your collaboration spans across multiple departments, such as IT, internal sourcing, warehousing, and Quality Assurance (QA), ensuring a reliable and efficient supply chain. The current office location is Søborg; however, the department will be relocating to Taastrup at the end of the year. Qualifications
To be considered for this position, we imagine you: Hold a master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field Possess a minimum of 5 years of Supply Chain experience within a regulated industry Demonstrate prior experience in Project Management, preferably in setting-up processes or standards Exhibit fluency in both written and spoken English As a person, you excel at cultivating relationships across diverse cultures, securing commitment from both internal and external stakeholders. In addition to possessing strong communication and stakeholder management skills, you proactively approach your daily tasks and effectively manage your own time. You enjoy challenges and adeptly crafting solutions to bring structure. You efficiently work independently, take responsibility for your work and thrive in a dynamic and ambitious environment, with many simultaneous tasks and changing priorities. About the department
You will be a part of our Supply Chain department in the dynamic and agile Global Contract Manufacturing Drug Substance (GCM DS) area. GCM DS is responsible for Novo Nordisk’s outsourced manufacturing and source Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients and raw material into Novo Nordisk production sites across the globe. You will join an international team of 5 highly motivated and talented Supply Chain Project Managers who encourage each other’s professional development and value a positive and fun work environment.
