On behalf of LINAK A/S, we are looking for an experienced and global-oriented IT project manager to take the lead on challenging and varied IT projects on on-going internal projects.



LINAK is a globally growing company and market leader in electric actuators for a multitude of industries. Digitisation of their business and optimisation of the IT landscape is constantly progressing which demands an increased focus on the approach to and the management of projects – and the future will bring an even increased amount of IT-related projects to the organisation.
The IT department works with a global focus across the company’s functions which gives a broad composition of project types with IT as a key component. It is the ambition to structure and improve the approach to projects and project models including portfolio management.

About the position


This is a newly created role, and you will join a small team of internal and external project managers as part of the IT department with a direct reference to the IT Director. You will be working full-time as a project manager on projects of various scale and complexity – from concept clarification projects or implementation of small applications to large projects such as implementation or upgrade of IT platforms or IT systems.
You will have many internal stakeholders, and a large influence on methodology and how to think and work with projects and portfolio management.

Your responsibilities include:
· Project management of various types of IT projects from large business projects in cooperation with a business project manager to implementations and roll-outs of smaller projects
· Management of the IT project portfolio with e.g. ERP, PLM, CRM or similar
· Project reporting to operational steering groups and the IT steering committee
· Governance and stakeholder management, internal and external

Your profile


We are looking for a project manager with a range of relevant experience with IT projects. Preferably, you have a technical background and experience with both waterfall and agile methodologies. Good communication and relationship building skills are important to succeed in the collaboration with both production workers and managers.

You have:
· Experience with management of 3rd party suppliers for IT
· Experience with IT business development and digitisation
· Experience with both waterfall working method and agile working methods
· A commercial approach to IT and you feel comfortable in the intersection between business and IT
· The ability to communicate technical problems and solutions to businesses and management
· Language: Danish and English on business level
