On behalf of our Client, a global FMCG leader with + 80.000 employees, we are looking for a Commercial Project Lead to join the commercial organisation in Copenhagen, Denmark.
COMMERCIAL PROJECT LEAD – Category Development, Strategy, Insights & Analytics
You are the link between the Nordic Marketing, local trade marketing, Consumer Journey and the Danish commercial team. With focus of the consumers and customers you will develop, market and plan commercial strategies and execution for the categories in the different channels.

COMMERCIAL PROJECT LEAD – Category Development, Strategy, Insights & Analytics
You are the link between the Nordic Marketing, local trade marketing, Consumer Journey and the Danish commercial team. With focus of the consumers and customers you will develop, market and plan commercial strategies and execution for the categories in the different channels.
Your main accountabilities:
- Contribute with data driven insights to the preparation of the consolidated commercial deployment plan for each channel
- Lead deployment of commercial projects and initiatives within assigned categories and / or channels, including follow up and evaluation of results
- Continuously analyze business environment, own and competitors’ performance, shopper behaviour instore, online and in own channels and proactively comes up with proposals to increase performance
- Identify retail and channel trends and market opportunities in order to propose necessary actions
- Build category and concept presentations focusing on the strengths of the portfolio
- Support sales with suggestions of assortment strategy within the category for different types of customers
- Build trade presentations and management presentations
- Develop and implement category management best practice for the commercial team, using business and market analysis.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
- Master’s/bachelor’s degree in management/Economics or equivalent higher education
- 4+ years of relevant work experience in a multinational company, preferably in Marketing/Sales in Category development & Insight functions.
- Full proficiency in Danish and English
- Experience in category/project management
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and lead cross functional teams
- Strong planning skills and ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
