Energy & Decarbonisation Project Lead to DOVISTA Group Operations

You will be one of the important contributors in realising this ambition.
The overall purpose of the role is to develop and ensure a structured and harmonised centralised approach to decarbonisation initiatives in the plants. You will serve as a support and advisor, guiding the translation of Group initiatives into tangible and measurable actions. In addition, you will assume a project lead role, responsible for the execution of these initiatives.
You will report to the Head of Transformation, who reports to the Group COO. Work location can be in a hybrid setup, with primary work location in the head office in Horsens. Monthly travelling of 5-8 days should be expected.
Heading Decarbonisation initiatives across plants in Europe
In this newly established role, you will act as project lead, when it comes to ensuring that initiatives concerning electrics and gas consumption are fostered and executed and that they contribute directly to DOVISTA’s Scope 1 and 2 SBTi commitments. There are ongoing projects in the individual plants. Your span of stakeholders and contributors will be wide and varied and internally range from the plants to the COO, and externally from insurance companies to energy-saving partners.
Furthermore, and still in Operations, you will ensure that Loss Prevention activities and improvement initiatives that are agreed with the insurance companies are executed. You will take outset in the DOVISTA loss prevention standard currently under development, where your role involves monitoring and auditing the DOVISTA plants to ensure adherence to these requirements.
Key words in this role will be project management, energy management in plants, energy monitoring support to the plants, and heading loss prevention standards.
Technical savvy in energy optimization and with project lead skills
The right candidate, we see as technically savvy, and who balances this with a relational and business-oriented mindset. It comes natural to you to set objectives, establish structures, make plans, follow-up on them and support projects through execution to handover, and you are therefore structured. You are curious and ask questions, and based on the answers and needs make realistic plans that the Operations organization can take ownership for.
Key characteristics for you are that you are communicative, engaging, and with a strong team orientation. You will be a “one-of-a-kind” in DOVISTA and therefore you are proactive and self-driven as progress and continuous awareness will depend on your ability to keep momentum.
Your background includes academic credentials in technical engineering and furthermore, your professional experience includes:
- A broad knowledge about electricity, energy, machinery, production processes, and much more.
- Leading projects, where you safely see your projects through.
- 10-15 years’ experience from working with energy optimisation in plants and buildings that consume a high volume of energy.
- IT savvy with experience in using MS Office, and knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
