This is your chance to bring your theoretical foundation within thermodynamics and fluid mechanics as well as your holistic approach towards industrial process development into play as you work on projects that contribute to closing the gap to a sustainability future!</p><p><strong>You will join a department on the rise - Industrial Engineering</strong> <strong>in our Buildings division </strong></p><p>As our new Process Engineer, you will join a team of 10 engaged and skilled engineers distributed across our offices in Aarhus, Vejle and Esbjerg. The team consists of a good mix of colleagues early in their career as well as more experienced colleagues, eager to share their knowledge and expertise. We offer a variety of engineering services to our industrial clients spanning electrical, mechanical, process design and project management on projects of different scale and complexity. We are a newly established department; however, we are also anchored in a division with many years of experience delivering projects to clients that all contribute to a sustainable future. Consequently, while you will join a global organisation with strong network of skilled colleagues to draw on, you will also join a department that is on a journey, and you will be encouraged to bring forth your bright ideas and assume an active part in shaping our services.</p><p>Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:</p><ul><li>Preparation of process related documentation covering from Concept or FEED studies over basic and detailed design; including process simulations, Heat & Mass balances, Process and Utility Flow Diagrams (PFDs and UFDs), Piping & Instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and system descriptions (process and utility systems).</li><li>Design calculations and specification of process equipment for procurement</li><li>Specialist studies to define feasible and suitable solutions or concepts for various process plants, e.g. debottlenecking studies</li><li>Possibility to be involved in site supervision and assistance in commissioning and start-up.</li></ul><p><strong>Your starting point for constant growth</strong></p><p>From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is:</p><ul><li>B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering</li><li>Preferably a few years of experience with industrial process engineering, but you might also just have embarked on your career with a solid theoretical background within the area</li><li>Solid theoretical understanding of thermodynamics, heat transmission and fluid mechanics</li><li>Knowledge of Power-to-X technologies will be a great advantage</li><li>Excellent English skills, written and spoken, since this is our corporate language.</li></ul><p>Personal qualities that will help you thrive in this role include: self-driven, proactive and good team player.
