About the role
We are looking for at Process Engineer to join our team of 27 highly skilled and enthusiastic engineers within the Process Active Products department. Our main responsibility is designing the essential equipment needed to produce products for the pharma industry.
At NNE, we inspire customers with cutting-edge technologies and provide optimal solutions for new, expanding, or renovating facilities. You’ll be involved in all project phases and gain insights from experts across various disciplines. Every new task offers fresh opportunities to grow and sharpen your skills, while actively developing by expanding your competencies, deepening your knowledge, and applying it.
The team is split between our headquarters in Virum and our office in Kalundborg. While this position focuses on the office in Virum, frequent visits to Kalundborg are expected.

As Process Engineer, you’ll:
- Create and develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) as part of the process design
- Design, Specify, and procure process equipment
- Supervise vendors and attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and Site Acceptance Tests (SATs)
- Collaborate with architects to create facility layouts
- Work with automation teams to design the control strategy for process equipment
- Engage in design decision workshops with colleagues and customers

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- You hold a Master of Science degree in engineering within chemistry, biotechnology or pharmaceutical production
- You have min. 2 years of experience within engineering sector, preferably pharma engineering
