Your new company
ROCKWOOL Group is the world’s leading supplier of innovative products based on stone wool. The Group’s operations have a large presence in Europe as well as North America, Russia, India and East Asia. Based at corporate headquarters in Hedehusene, Denmark, you will be part of the Group Public Affairs & Sustainability team which is a part of ROCKWOOL’s Group Marketing, Communications & Public Affairs department. Across the full range of our products and operations, ROCKWOOL is dedicated to sustainability. We have committed to contributing to 10 UN Sustainable Development Goals by increasing the positive impact of our products and minimising the negative impact of our operations. We strive to expand our already significant role in shaping a sustainable society.
Your new role
To further develop our position and license to operate as a global leader in the field of energy efficiency, decarbonisation, circularity and sustainable buildings, you will be responsible for preparing position papers, responding to policy consultations and analysing and advising on future trends to guide our strategic direction within the different areas.
You will be engaging with international stakeholders, including key stakeholders who have direct or indirect influence on the EU legal framework. You will be working closely with our business units across our different markets in driving advocacy and facilitating knowledge sharing.
You will have an important role in further developing our thought-leadership and, in close cooperation with our Communications team, advising our CEO and executive management on positioning and messaging.
What you´ll need to succeed
You have minimum 7-12 years experience, ideally with an international background including in the private sector. You preferably have a Master in e.g. business administration, political science, communication, economics or law combined with solid experience within the field of public affairs and sustainability. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and full professional proficiency in English. You have deep insights into the global stakeholder landscape, in particular at EU level, within energy efficiency, decarbonisation, circularity and sustainable buildings as well as strong stakeholder engagement competencies. You have analytical skills to understand detailed, technical knowledge and turn it into strong communication and innovative policy asks. You have an inter-cultural skillset, to establish strong positive stakeholder relationships. You are decisive, motivating, results oriented and working with a high sense of urgency.
You will be based at our Headquarters in Hedehusene but a certain level of travel amongst others to Brussels is expected.
