About the Opportunity

Join Sanofi Denmark as Public Affairs & Communication Manager. In this role you will shape and implement our Public Affairs strategy. You will work with key external stakeholders in the public sector, state administration and non-governmental organizations including patient advocacy groups to create a favorable business environment for the company. Furthermore, you will lead and implement internal and external communication strategies.

In this role you will…

• Assist the Head of Market Access & Public Affairs in interaction with public health authorities, development of the strategy and tactics when interacting with public authorities
• Build and develop political network and close relationships with decision makers and relevant healthcare stakeholders
• Continuously monitor and analyze the political situation that is relevant for Sanofi business in Denmark
• Coordinate the implementation of the PA strategy in close collaboration with Country Chair, MA&PA Head and GBU Heads
• Support the Patient Engagement Manager in establishing and driving patient related strategies and manage relationships with local patient organizations (PAGs)
• Construct and roll-out a long-term Public Affairs plan for the Sanofi portfolio, in line with both the business unit and cross-departmental priorities, and adapt plan to changing situations and priorities if needed
• Develop partnerships with healthcare provider associations and think tanks in order to discuss trends and concerns and evaluate together how to maintain both a sustainable healthcare system and a balanced economic environment
• Develop communication campaigns on key strategy focus areas on collaboration with GBUs and communication colleagues. Work closely with the digital tribe to ensure strong communication on all platforms
• Enhance Sanofi’s visibility and reputation both within and outside the pharmaceutical industry, e.g. through implementation of corporate programs, active participation in conferences, symposia and industry association meetings
• Coordinate and implement internal communication initiatives with Country Lead and Head of Communication in North Europe
• Promote and respect of Company’s values, code of Ethics and social charter
• Ensure full compliance of actions with legal requirements and ethical norms, accordingly and proactively advice towards

About you

Qualifications/ Education & work experience

• Business understanding and ability to assimilate legal, commercial, financial aspects and their impact on the Public Affairs function and on whole company activity in Denmark and Nordics
• Strategic view of the Danish health environment in general and preferably the pharmaceutical industry
• Team-player, innovative, creative and an excellent communicator internal and external
• Ability to work efficiently in a matrix organization, developing strong relationships with leaders, colleagues, and other internal key stakeholders
• Service-minded and willing to stretch and go the extra mile for the benefit of the team, business units and the company
• Driven, curious, change minded and dedicated
• 3-5 years of experience in Public Affairs/Market Access/Communication/Politics/Policy shaping with a relevant network of key stakeholders
• Higher education degree in public relation/communication/politics/health economic/social sciences/health education, further and business education would be an advantage
• Strong communication skills in Danish and English
