Global Marketing, Communications and Public Affairs (GMCP) is the focal point for Vestas external activities responsible for marketing and branding activities, external and internal communication, policy analysis and all interactions with policy makers. The department is also responsible for supporting the commercial strategy development and implementation. We have colleagues in all Vestas’ regions, supporting Vestas’ commercial activities. We work focused with performance management and set measurable KPIs for everything we do to ensure a professional approach to the value we create to the business. We are looking for our next great student worker to take part in various public affairs tasks both from a global perspective but also to support regional colleagues whom are part of the Public Affairs team located across all continents.
Responsibilities
Your role is to support the responsibilities of the Public Affairs team. You will do so from the Copenhagen office focusing on supporting both global, regional and Danish activities and projects. These will include Public Affairs campaigns, global Public Affairs projects, coordinating political visits, prepare briefing packages for executive management, lobbying tactics, research, gathering of data and information and much more. The role will also include some administrative and logistical tasks.

Qualifications
- You are currently or soon to be studying a master’s degree in e.g. Business, Political Science or similar relevant, and you can handle a student job of 20 hours per week in average
- You are fluent in English, both in writing and orally
- It is a benefit if you have experience from working in a political environment such as in a business organisation, political party, ministry or government agency
Competencies
- As a person, you are professional and dedicated by nature with a good sense of quality
- You are constructive, full of initiative and thrive in a complex environment of skilled people
- You are flexible with a can-do attitude and you have good skills in conceptual thinking and communication
- You can work with limited supervision and at the same time, you are a team member, who is always working towards reaching a common goal. Furthermore, you can easily balance multiple tasks simultaneously and you are self-disciplined, motivated and organised
