The Ballerup reception is the heart of Ambu's Danish headquarter and the place to go to for our +500 DK-based colleagues when they need assistance. Our new Receptionist will be the face of Ambu HQ, in a small team of two receptionist. You will be part of the Facility team, where team work, humor, service mindedness, and going the extra mile for each other are key points in working together.
The ideal candidate has solid experience working as a receptionist or in similar service position and you will handle various administrative tasks. As the first point of contact for guests, it’s essential that you display a welcoming and service minded attitude, leaving our guests with a positive impression of their visit.
As receptionist your responsibilities will include:
• Welcoming guests and managing access cards for colleagues and guests.
• Answering and redirecting phone calls
• Forwarding emails from our international mailbox to the correct departments.
• Preparing keycards and welcome binders to new employees.
• Distribution and postage of regular post
• Support departments and colleagues with various requests
Key competences
Your background is not essential, but you most likely have experience with working in an international environment in a professional manner that makes guests and colleagues feel welcome. You are outgoing and service-minded, and it comes naturally to you to stay cool, calm and collected in a busy environment with constantly changing tasks and requests.
Your experience or skillset enables you to learn fast and gives you the ability to understand the needs of guests and colleagues. As a person, you are well presented with a friendly attitude.You are self-motivated and can act independently and make decisions with use of sound judgement. You have good computer skills, and you are fluent in both written and spoken
Danish and English.
As Ambu is a global company it is essential that you have excellent English skills and that you have a global mindset in relation to both co-workers and business opportunities. However, for this position you will need to have strong written and verbal command of the Danish language as well.
