About the job

We offer an exciting and challenging job where hosting, service and good contact with our many guests are highly valued.

The Night Manager position offers plenty of challenges. You will be responsible for the reception at night, so that our guests always receive the best service experience at any time when they stay with us.

In addition, you must manage and distribute the work for yourself and your night porter, including check-in and check-out of our guests, phone service and email handling, light office work, accounting tasks and room reservations.

You get a very central position in the hotel during evening and night hours, when you have to contribute to our guests having a good experience.

The position is to be filled as soon as possible, and there will be carried out interviews on an ongoing basis.

Tasks

Among others, your tasks will consist of:

  • Correct handover in connection with shift change
  • Providing additional sales
  • Making sure the hotel is operated safely at all times
  • Knowledge of all company promotions and hotel rates
  • Being responsible for evacuation in case of emergencies, as first point of contact for guests and rescue services
  • Being responsible for the guests' safety and comfort
  • Maintain logbook and handover


    • About you

    You have industry experience and are committed, you are a seller and take a proactive approach to both guests and colleagues. It is important that you can work self-reliantly and that you enjoy working at night.
    You have to turn up at work with an intention to make a positive difference and become noticeable as a good host to guests and colleagues.

    In addition, it is characteristic of you that:

  • You can keep track of stressful situations
  • Presence and precision characterize your work, so you can help create harmonious experiences
  • You are dynamic and are able to make self-reliant decisions
  • You are extroverted, accommodating and ready to help your colleagues, also across departments
  • You have knowledge of the Opera system, good IT-knowledge and preferably knowledge of the booking system MARSHA
  • You speak Danish and English fluently
