Femern Link Contractors (FLC) is a consortium of 9 partners working together to build the Fehmarnbelt link, the largest construction project in Northern Europe. As we make history by building the world's longest immersed tunnel, we are looking for a service-minded receptionist to join our Village team and help keep the engine room running in an exciting and lively workplace.

FLC Village is where our tunnel construction employees stay during the project. With 1344 rooms available in the Village, as well as hundreds more remotely in the local area, FLC Village is the largest hotel operation in Denmark.
We strive to create a welcoming, comfortable and safe environment for our employees and offer a range of leisure activities such as a fitness room, TV room and gaming facilities, Petanque and ball courts. We also work with local associations to provide additional facilities for our employees.
Our reception is currently open Monday to Friday from 8-19 and Sunday from 13-21.
5-day working week, with office hours alternating between 8-16 and 11-19.

Your tasks:
- Check-in and check-out of employees and subcontractors, room allocation and status reporting.
- Quality control of services provided such as canteen operations and cleaning
- Handling inquiries from employees and subcontractors, in person, by email and by phone
- Light translation tasks
- Ordering and coordinating craftsmen and other subcontractors
- Participating in planning events for residents
- Organizing introduction meetings for new employees.
- Follow-up and reporting
- Ensure effective and efficient communication with colleagues and employees living in FLC Village
Our expectations:
To thrive in this role, we expect you to have:
- Education or significant experience in the hospitality industry with guest contact.
- Good knowledge of the Office package, especially Excel
- A service-minded and professional approach to guests and colleagues
- Problem solving skills and is open and flexible
- A proactive attitude, initiative and high energy level
- Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends
- Knowledge or experience with the Picasso hotel system (an advantage)
- Good physical condition as the role involves active tasks
- A happy, positive and open personality with an easy smile and a good sense of humor
- Fluent in written and spoken English, knowledge of Danish and Eastern European languages such as Polish and Romanian is an advantage
- Possibility to work pt. Every 3rd weekend
- A flexible attitude
- That you are a strong team player
