Financial Controller to join the financial department at Navigare Capital Partners in Copenhagen

Do you want to work in a fast-growing, responsible and ambitious Alternative Investment Fund Manager in an international work environment? Do you want to play a part in building, developing and managing Navigare Capital’s Finance & Accounting function? Then you might be Navigare Capital’s new financial controller.

On behalf of Navigare Capital Partners, Adecco is looking for a Financial Controller to develop and manage the financial operations.

You will together with the Finance and Accounting Director build and further develop the Finance and Accounting function.

The F&A function works closely with our other departments and with our external service provider who is managing the bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll.

Other primary tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Oversight of the finance and accounting activities outsourced to the external service provider as well as close daily cooperation with the service provider
• Analyzing financial data and preparing financial reports
• Financial controlling
• Follow-up on annual budget and periodic forecasts
• Participating in preparation and maintaining of cash-flow analysis as needed
• Respond to inquiries regarding financial performance

Even though most of the bookkeeping and transactional handling is outsourced, limited support in this area must be expected.

You are excellent at accounting and excel. You possess a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to drive change.

Furthermore, you have:

• A relevant degree in accounting or equivalent
• 2-5 years of relevant experience with eg. debit/credit and bookkeeping
• The ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
• The ability to work and seek knowledge independently
• A high degree of motivation

It is an advantage if you have experience from the shipping industry, but this is not a requirement.
