ESG Manager to take our ESG Accounting and Reporting to the next level
Are you passionate about the green transition and driving sustainable development through a data-driven approach?
We are looking for a talented ESG Manager to join our ESG Accounting and Reporting Team in European Energy. We offer you a chance to take part in driving sustainable development through ESG data excellence and sustainability reporting which is used to make strategic data-based decisions, secure progress on strategic sustainability focus areas internally, and document performance externally.
Our team
The ESG Accounting and Reporting team is part of the Group Strategy, Sustainability and PMO department consisting of an international and engaged group of 30 people from top-tier consultancies and companies, with diverse professional backgrounds.
To achieve ESG data excellence, we have established an ESG Accounting and Reporting Taskforce, led by our Senior ESG Manager, with members from Finance, including our Chief Financial Officer, Head of Group Controlling, Senior IFRS specialists and Financial Controllers. The cross-disciplinarity of our taskforce ensures alignment on accounting and reporting practices across financial data and ESG data.

Your responsibilities
- Act as a link between Finance/ESG accounting and Reporting/Sustainability
- Play a key role in implementing CSRD/ESRS reporting requirements and Provide expert advisory and support to internal stakeholders
- Develop new ESG performance indicators in alignment with strategic sustainability priorities and CSRD/ESRS
- Integrate ESG data into ESG Data Warehouse and map data flows and reporting processes, define controls and develop accounting policies
- Consolidate and control ESG data at a Group level
- Report ESG performance indicators in quarterly and annual report(s) to internal and external stakeholders
- Lead the audit process and facilitate independent limited assurance of Sustainability Statements in the Annual Report
Your qualifications
- You have a Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Auditing with a passion for sustainability and ESG
- You have +4 years of professional experience with financial or sustainability/ESG accounting and reporting as e.g. a controller or an auditor in a large/medium-sized company or consultancy
- You have experience with data management, consolidation, controlling, analysis, reporting and data-driven decision making
- You have expert knowledge of and experience with existing and new sustainability reporting standards e.g. CSRD/ESRS and EU Taxonomy
- You have an analytical mindset and a logical approach to problem-solving
- You are organized, good at prioritizing and you drive progress independently
- You have a strategic business outlook combined with an eye for details
