DIS/CREADIS is a global, sustainable, and innovative engineering and consultancy company that delivers technology and business results to a variety of industries. As a Junior Financial Controller, you will be part of the Global Finance Team consisting of 6 colleagues located at our headquarters in Stilling, and 8 colleagues outside of Denmark. Together with the rest of the finance team, you will contribute to and ensure high-quality deliveries to the organization and support positive development within your area of expertise. You will play an important role in our finance team by being responsible for the following tasks:

  • Assist in timely and accurate internal and external finance reporting together with our finance team.

  • Ensure compliance within the accounting area

  • Handle hands-on tasks related to monthly closure and preparation of financial statements

  • Optimize accounting/finance processes in our department and in the organization in general

  • Ensure an efficient and updated control setup

  • Support the organization in accounting-related questions

  • Contribute to the development of financial models that can catch deviations in monthly reports to ensure higher quality

  • Handle VAT-related issues

  • Participate in the external audit process

  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies

We are looking for a new colleague to join us at our headquarters in Stilling near Aarhus. The position offers flexibility to work part-time, with a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Your profile

We expect that you have a bachelor’s degree within Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience in a similar role or as an auditor, is an advantage.

Furthermore, we are looking for a colleague with the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

  • Good Excel, Power BI, and analytical skills

  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Skills to support a data-driven approach and a digital maturity level in the finance department

  • Motivation to work in an international company where every day brings new challenges

  • A focus on supporting good collaboration with internal stakeholders within our finance team as well as with the rest of the organization

  • The capability to solve tasks with great independence while valuing cooperation and sparring with colleagues when needed
