We are looking for a dynamic Business Controller with analytical skills to play a key role in the development of the company.
The position
You will play a key role, by controlling and guiding our financial results, including forecasting, analysis, and providing support to the General Manager and other departments of Atlas Copco Kompressorteknik. You will be part of the management team and report to the General Manager. You will have a dotted line report to the VP Business Control in Atlas Copco Belgium.
You will be actively supporting the local management team by being responsible for and promoting transparency in facts and figures to ensure a decision process based on adequate and objective information. This will be done in a strong collaboration with the local accounting team.

You have strong business analytical skills with experience in finance and business control, as well as good knowledge of general accounting principles, IFRS and statutory accounting rules.
You have a dynamic mindset with a high energy level and are able to drive changes. You act with a positive attitude and firmly believe that there is always a better way. Preferably you have prior experience working in a production company.

The position

You will be actively supporting the local management team by being responsible for and promoting transparency in facts and figures to ensure a decision process based on adequate and objective information. This will be done in a strong collaboration with the local accounting team.
Your tasks will include, but not be limit to:
- Continuously work towards improved profitability and capital efficiency
- Implementing an efficient administration, aiming to optimize costs
- Support the growth of the business by developing and extending business control tools and reports that are transparent and fast to use
- Ensure that proper and effective financial and business control system is in place
- Interact with other Atlas Copco entities in Denmark and the Holding company to ensure correct decisions, standard policies and standard processes when it refers to Accounting, Finance, Fiscal and Legal subjects
- Coordinate the planning process
- Raise "red flags" to the management whenever compliance with sound business principles are at risk, and consequently propose/initiate and follow-up corrective actions
- Help develop and maintain IT tools
What we expect of you
You have strong business analytical skills with experience in finance and business control, as well as good knowledge of general accounting principles, IFRS and statutory accounting rules.

Furthermore it would be great if you are:
- Result oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities and you can "see the whole picture" of the company business model
- Highly business oriented and able to communicate with customers and colleagues on all levels
- You see what needs to be done and have a strong sense of ownership, taking responsibility and leading projects to successful conclusion
- Have proven leadership skills and are able to motivate, engage and coach other people and the organization to create lasting results together
- Have work experience from multi-international companies
- Hold a master’s degree in Business Administration/Economics or a similar, relevant field
- Fluent in Danish and English
