Are you ready to lead our Accounts Receivable (A/R) department, part of the Shared Service Center for Denmark and the rest of the Nordic countries?

Head up the Accounts Receivable department
We are 5 colleagues taking care of 7 companies of various sizes in Denmark and the Nordic countries. Belonging to Group Accounting based in Ballerup, we serve GN Store Nord A/S, GN Audio A/S, GN Hearing A/S and a few Nordic GN companies in terms of all things related to A/R.
Currently, we are going through a development phase where we are working to streamline our processes and IT systems. We enjoy a great atmosphere and are looking forward to receiving your input and experiencing your leadership and optimization skills.
Combine your leadership with hands-on optimization initiatives
As our new manager, you will spend about 50% of your time on developing the A/R function while spending the other 50% working hands-on on initiatives. We want our employees to feel they are developing their skills, and we want our IT systems and routines to run as smoothly as possible according to neatly defined processes. - Focus on managing the department
- Ensure the closing of books for the A/R modules complying with time schedules and quality standards
- Support the business finance managers with all kind of enquiries regarding A/R
- Act as a trusted partner to stakeholders outside of finance like Customer Care departments as well as salespeople around the world
- Shape and drive various initiatives and projects to improve the A/R function and harmonize it across ERP systems and companies
- Participate in the large ongoing upgrade of our current ERP systems to Microsoft D365
Are you an adept people and project manager?
We are looking for a colleague who thrives in an international environment. You are ready to contribute actively to reinforce our positive work environment and high team spirit, and you understand how to communicate needs to IT for process optimization. Moreover, we imagine that you:
- Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree within finance, math, economics or similar
- Bring 5+ years of work experience of which 2 years as a Department Manager. Your experience could be from e.g. a finance department or working as an accountant, consultant, project manager or process optimization expert
- Have a track record with project management/process optimization
- Are a skilled Excel user with technical flair so you can navigate easily between our different systems and see optimization opportunities in the use of IT
- Are fluent in English – Danish is an advantage but not a prerequisite
